{"id":216,"date":"2006-12-03T23:34:08","date_gmt":"2006-12-04T03:34:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.countfour.org\/legalmoose\/2006\/12\/03\/standing-up\/"},"modified":"2006-12-03T23:34:08","modified_gmt":"2006-12-04T03:34:08","slug":"standing-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.countfour.org\/legalmoose\/2006\/12\/03\/standing-up\/","title":{"rendered":"Standing Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It feels so good to be able to stand up to pee again.<\/p>\n<p>I went and got another <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Circular_barbell\">curved barbell<\/a> for my <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Prince_Albert_Piercing\">Prince Albert (PA)<\/a>. I&#8217;d had one before, back when I had the original 10ga in, and hadn&#8217;t seen the point in getting new ones as I upped the size of the gauges from 10 to the 4 I have in now. Just one more piece of metal to use temporarily and discard or put away when I went up again. Since I&#8217;m pretty much set at the 4 now (I can&#8217;t see going higher at this point; it&#8217;s quite large enough), it was time to get a new piece of metal.<\/p>\n<p>It is true that peeing with a PA can be a bit of a challenge at times. There are tricks you learn (turning sideways, pinching, etc.), but when it comes down to it, with a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Captive_bead\">captive bead ring<\/a> it&#8217;s just easier to sit down than risk a mess. This is especially true at home, where I have to do the cleaning. This is the only real drawback to the PA, in my experience, and while it is minimizable with the CBR, it&#8217;s also nice to have a better solution while keeping the jewelry. As the PA Wiki entry above states, it&#8217;s not the extra hole that causes the issue, it&#8217;s the liquid rolling along the curved surface of the jewelry. Hence the curved barbell as a way to combat that, since it just creates an extension of the natural arc of the stream.<\/p>\n<p>Got home, popped the sucker in after cleaning it and putting some slightly larger balls on the end (to make sure it stays in place), and took it for a test drive. As expected, was a direct shot, no spillage. Truly a glorious piss.
