The House majority is so thin they needed several minority votes to make it happen. What a mess. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our human capital folks warned that while pay checks will be issued next week on the regular payday, they&#8217;ll be a mess as the payroll provider tries to handle all of the calculations, deductions, taxes, etc. Whee. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I just hope they get it sorted before December. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Still on medical telework, so I will not be on the Metro with the rest of the Feds, trying to remember how to commute after 43 days off work.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The House managed (barely) to pass the Senate&#8217;s continuing resolution, so my coworkers will all be back online tomorrow.
