01/11/29 a.m. 31:52 run in RCP (~5k). AHR: 171; MHR: 185; Recovery: 76. Good tempo run. My knees were sore from the slow runs, so needed a "normal" paced run this morning. Drizzly, a little foggy, mid 50s for the weather, so that kind of in-between stuff where you want sleeves but you don't.

01/11/26 a.m. 24:33 run in RCP. AHR: 150; MHR: 164; Recovery: 63. Another easy run day, as hoped. Gorgeous morning, perfect for a run - the fog had burned off, a mild bit of humidity from yesterday's rain, and low 50s. Nice! The easy pace drives me nuts, and I'm not sure it's the best for my knees/calves, so I did strides both at the end and in the middle to cross Beach Drive. That seemed to help get my legs back to a normal running stride.

01/11/25 p.m. 43:21 run in RCP. AHR: 171; MHR: 180; Recovery: 61. Another rainy day. Wanted to bike, but not in the rain - I'd rather run 'cause believe it or not, I feel steadier on my feet in the rain than I do on two knobby wheels. Not to mention the whole traffic thing (cars and rain = not fun). Run went very well, went to the other side of the zoo gates and back. Didn't start raining really until I was about 2/3 of the way done with the run. Glad to have the hat on, though (seeing is a good thing, and with glasses, the hat becomes a necessity).

01/11/24 p.m. 30:34 run in RCP. AHR: 151; MHR: 173; Recovery: 78. Rainy day, though it stopped by the time I went out. It's almost balmy out at 50-odd degrees out, though very humid. Intentionally ran very, very slowly, keeping myself in a very low heart rate range. It's difficult to stay down that low, more difficult than going fast, in my opinion, but I think I needed the slow, purposeful pace to get myself back into running. The recovery style run is a good thing, so hopefully I'll incorporate a few more of these into my routine. Scary men hanging out on the hill I normally walk up, so I ran up it, hence the spike in the MHR compared to the average.

01/11/22 p.m. 18:06 run in RCP. AHR: 164; MHR: 178; Recovery: 69. Short run, just to get out and do something after spending the day in front of the computer. Not bad, cool weather, darkening as I ran, lights coming on from the cars.

01/11/11 p.m. 48:37 run in RCP. AHR: 171; MHR: 180; Recovery: 61. Wanted a long run today, so took my time and did one (this as a precursor to making cookies this afternoon *grin*). Good step toward normalcy, now that I've given up caffeine again. Run went well, cool out but not too cool (long sleeve T and shorts). Stayed in the zone for most of the time, which was good.

01/11/09 a.m. 17:32 run (~2.5k) in RCP. AHR: 167; MHR: 177; Recovery: 78. Short run this morning, not too bad. Warm enough for shorts and a T with the base layer underneath. Just wanted a quick run in the park this morning before work.

01/11/06 a.m. 33:16 run (~5k) in RCP. AHR: 173; MHR: 180; Recovery: 68. Fabulous run this morning. A tad slower than my norm 'cause it was in the 30s outside (hat and tights were firmly in place). Didn't want to get up, but did so, got some cranberry juice in me, then got out the door and going. Am much better for having done so, too.
