01/12/28 a.m. 17:20 run in RCP (~2.5k). AHR: 174; MHR: 189; Recovery: 78. Not much time this morning (cursed sleep deficit), so did a "normal out, fast back" run. The fast back was tough, but went well. Cold out, but cold isn't being that big a deal now that it's finally come. So long as it's dry, that is. ;-)

01/12/26 a.m. 33:04 run in RCP (~5k). AHR: 173; MHR: 181; Recovery: 70. Nice regular run out this morning, in the low 30s so dressed all up with gloves and hat and what not. Couldn't find my tight winter top, so did the lighter undershirt and a sweatshirt. Was fine, but I'll need to find the tighter top before it gets much colder out. The run felt good, despite the break from running for the last week.

01/12/18 a.m. 17:28 run in RCP (~2.5k). AHR: 166; MHR: 182; Recovery: 78. Short run this morning, pre-interview. Balmy morning, mid-50s, overcast, a touch humid, perfect weather. Learned not to start a new weight routine the day before an interview - my butt is sooo sore from the lunges! It's supposed to help strengthen one's legs/butt for side to side movements while running, and I think it'll work, but the day after the first day and I am sore. Didn't really affect the run once I got going (different muscles?), and the run itself went pretty well, even if I did cut it short to get back here and be able to take a tad more time getting out of the house.

01/12/12 a.m. 17:43 run in RCP (~2.5k). AHR: 169; MHR: 186; Recovery: 72. Speedwork run this morning, though not perhaps as fast as last week. ;-) The left side lower leg was a tad sore starting out, though the right knee was fine. Wore the tights this morning, though was above 38, and it was a tad more comfortable. I think had I run much further they might have gotten too warm, though.

01/12/08 p.m. 31:09 run in RCP (~5k). AHR: 170; MHR: 180; Recovery: 75. Rainy out, kinda drizzly, and low 40s. Not bad, but my knees could feel the cold. :-p May end up resting tomorrow, this has been an active week. Wednesday evening and yesterday morning I went to the gym for the first time in 5 months (ugh!). The run itself was fine, just wet.

01/12/04 a.m. 16:54 run in RCP (~2.5k). AHR: 171; MHR: 189; Recovery: 65. Didn't have much time for a run this morning so I did a speedwork run. That was tough! I liked the timing of it, sprinting and slowing down, practicing running that quickly for short periods of time, and being able to do so at a speed that actually felt like speedwork (as opposed to the heart rate training book's target zones, which went from a shuffle to a light job and back for 'speedwork').

01/12/02 a.m. 31:22 run in RCP (~5k). AHR: 167; MHR: 184; Recovery: 77. Good simple run this afternoon. Took it easy going out, then a tad faster coming in (negative split! woo-hoo!). Ran it hard the last minute and a half or so, hence the high MHR. Cool out, not overly so, good shorts and long sleeve T weather.

01/12/01 p.m. 1:16:16 ride to Hain's Point and back (~28 k or 17.4 mi). AHR: 143; MHR: 170. Good bike ride today down to the point and back, probably the first ride I've had in ages. Just wanted a relatively short ride in to get some exercise and will likely try to run tomorrow. Felt good to get out on the bike again.
