02/05/25 p.m. 1:00, biked home from D's (~ 12.8 miles). AHR: 134; MHR: 180. D and R have bkes now, picked 'em up this morning. This was merely the longest of the rides today - rode to D's from City Bikes, rode around Hain's Point and home (this ride), rode to dinner with R. I will probably be sore as hell tomorrow, but for now it felt awesome to get out and bike this much. Had to go slow most of it to let D and R keep up, but hammered it in sections on the way home.

02/05/20 a.m. 20:37 run in RCP (~2.5k). AHR: 153; MHR: 177; Recovery: 80. Took R out with me on the run this morning, so kept to a slower pace than normal. Cool out, low 40s, not much humidity, perfect conditions. Legs still sore from the last run, so the slow pace was a good thing, I think.

02/05/18 p.m. 50:03 long run on the National Mall. AHR: 160; MHR: 176; Recovery: 68. Took a long run with Doug on the Mall today. Went well, nice pace, round the Mall and the Washington Monument.

02/05/15 a.m. 33:20 run in RCP (~5k). AHR: 168; MHR: 182; Recovery: 74. Wonderful, wonderful run this morning. Further proof that sleep and heart rate are very much related (got more sleep, heart rate was much better). No pain, no problems. Was a good morning.

02/05/12 p.m. 55:33 long run in RCP. AHR: 174; MHR: 185; Recovery: 57. Warm out (low 80s) today, so the run was tougher than usual. Add in the hour, the lack of decent sleep, the incredible amount of walking we did during our shopping orgy yesterday, and you make for one tired Moose. Had to keep slowing down to keep under the 181 mark - still went over far too many times, though. Altogether glad I got out and ran, though; first decent long run (out to the Calvert Street exit from RCP and back) that I've had in a while.

02/05/10 a.m. 18:40 run in RCP (~2.5k). AHR: 170; MHR: 182; Recovery: 66. Short run this morning due to time constraints. Was nice out, though - low to mid 60s, slight humidity. Gorgeous for a run. Was sorry I had to cut it short.

02/05/08 a.m. 35:07 run in RCP (~5k). AHR: 172; MHR: 181; Recovery: 67. Slow run today. Didn't sleep well (throat's still sore and too warm in the apt.), and my left calf was sore from the bad shoes I walked in yesterday, so I decided to take it easy. Heart rate still got up because I was mildly tired, but not too badly. Needed the run, so glad I took it.

02/05/06 p.m. 43:19, biked home from work (~ 8.0 miles). AHR: 158; MHR: 183. Great ride home, weather was perfect, cool and not too humid. Crowds weren't bad, either.

02/05/06 a.m. 37:04, biked into work (~ 7.7 miles). AHR: 158; MHR: 183. Great bike ride in, was a tad cool, the afternoon should be nice. No outstanding wildlife, tourist or otherwise. The Washington Monument ground were deserted (and I finally figured out what the painted lines were for on the edge of the asphalt disk - lines to keep folks in line for the tours).
