02/11/16 a.m. Got new shoes today, Asics Gel Koji, or something like that. The successor to the MC Gel Plus (my lifesavers the past few years). Knees should be much, much happier tomorrow.

02/11/15 a.m. 25:00 run in RCP (~2 mi). Great morning for a run. Cool, no humidity (45 or so?), perfect with the shorts, black pearl izumi undershirt and long-sleeve T. Knees definitely want new shoes, so will get those tomorrow. Did two miles despite intending for a 1.5 mile run, and am glad I did, it felt really good.

02/11/13 a.m. 18:47 run in RCP (~1.5 mi). Nice morning out, though humid. Combo of gym yesterday, wine last night and the need for new shoes conspired against going two miles, so I tuned at the mile and a half turn around. Will have to go get shoes this weekend. Otherwise was an okay run. Took it slow because of the proliferation of leaves on the ground - no desire to screw up my ankle again! Did play moosey-good-neighbor and cleared a few larger pieces of wood off the trail this morning as well. Almost had a negative split (unplanned!), which was nice.

02/11/10 p.m. 34:11 run in RCP (~3 mi). Campaign week was nuts, no time to run or otherwise exercise, so I put it off for the week. Back to it today, though, and perfect weather - 60s/70 or so out, not too humid, intermittent sunlight. Very nice. Walked for a minute toward the end, then was fine the rest of the way. I need to find a goal race and start training for it so I'll be more motivated to go run. That helped at the beginning, and I know it would help now. Did get a running wallet yesterday so I can run with the tights and not have to put on a belt or shorts to carry my ID and keys.

02/11/03 p.m. 35:12 run in RCP (~3 mi). Long run in the park today, in the afternoon. Followed it with a walk around the block to check out where I was going to be handing out campaign flyers. Run went well, ran the whole time, knees don't feel too bad from the run (from the campaign flyers is another story - there are more steps out there than you can shake a stick at).

02/11/01 a.m. 25:07 run in RCP (~2 mi). Cold out, wore tights for the first time this winter. Had it been any longer than my 2 mile run, I'd have wanted shorts, but the tights were fine for the distance. Nothing quite like stopping to stretch at the end of the run and watching the sweat visibly wafting off in the morning sun.

02/10/31 a.m. Went to the gym to do weights, wasn't too sore from Tuesday's session.
