04/09/07 p.m. 34:55 Run in RCP (~5 km). AHR: 164; MHR: 182; Recovery: 64. Lap 1: 17:25; 159 AHR; Lap 2: 17:29; 170 AHR. Almost a negative split. Interesting. Wasn't trying for one. This was a recovery run (recovering from a weekend of debaucheries), and a very wet one at that. Thankfully I thought to wear my hat, just in case. 5 minutes in, mist; 10 in, light drizzle; 20 in, light rain; 25 in, full rain. Whee. Did not help my sore nipple any, that's for sure, since the wet made the shirt cling most annoyingly to the chest. Not a bad run, just not a very memorable one, either.

04/09/01 p.m. 43:44 Run in RCP (~6.2 km). AHR: 163; MHR: 179; Recovery: 48. Lap 1: 21:52; 157 AHR; Lap 2: 21:52; 169 AHR. Okay, that's weird, not a negative split, but an exact split. Got up early this morning for some reason, so I took the extra time to do a longer run (around the tunnel and back). Pace was going well, heart rate stayed below 180, despite pushing some (yay!), weather was good, humidity tolerable, etc. Very, very good run this morning.
