I’ve taken Tuesday off next week (election day here in the U.S.) so I can go vote at my leisure, and I’m teleworking the day before and the day after, mainly because I don’t want to commute through downtown when I don’t know how the Mad King is going to react to any news/results from Tuesday. I don’t trust the man, and I don’t want to get caught in his insanity if I can avoid it.
Now I just have to go figure out all the five gazillion ballot initiatives and bond referenda that are on my ballot. Seriously, so many things these people want this year, from changing the local county charter to amending our state constitution. Messy, messy, messy.
Need to go pick up more candy today for the kids this evening. I brought a bunch home from work (there because of a halloween themed work event), but I never think it’s going to be enough, and I need to go grocery shopping in any case. Tomorrow is adjust to the time change, haircuts, a movie (Wildwood), and a warehouse store run for staples (listerine, cheese, etc.).
